We are a small business in Orlando. We collect very little and we do not sell anything about you to anyone.
What we collect
When you book a class
- Your name and email address
- Sometimes a phone number, if you give one
- What you booked and when
When you buy something
- The same, plus your billing details
- We never see or store your card number. Payments are handled by our payment processor and your card details go to them, not to us.
When you email us
- Whatever you write to us, and your email address
When you use the site
- Standard technical information: IP address, browser, pages visited, and where you arrived from
- Cookies, covered below
What we do not collect
- Anything you type into an AI tool during a class. That goes to that company, under their terms, and we never see it.
- Health information, financial account details, or anything about your children. If you bring those into a class, they stay with you.
Why we collect it
- To run the class you booked and to tell you where and when it is
- To take payment
- To answer you when you write to us
- To send you our emails, if you asked for them
- To keep records of bookings and payments, which we have to do
Who we share it with
Only the companies that run parts of our business for us, and only what they need:
- Calendly: bookings and class dates
- Stripe: payments
- ActiveCampaign: our email list
- HubSpot: business contacts and proposals
- Cloudflare: the site itself
- Google Analytics: how people use the site
- Our accountant, and anyone we are legally required to tell
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it or share it for anyone else's advertising.
Emails
- We only email you if you asked us to, or if you bought something from us
- Every email has an unsubscribe link and it works immediately
- Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop emails about a class you have actually booked
Cookies
The site uses cookies to work properly and to understand how people use it. We use Google Analytics to see which pages people visit and how they found us. It does not tell us who you are. You can turn cookies off in your browser, and some of the site may then not work.
How long we keep it
- Booking and payment records: as long as we need them for tax and accounting
- Email list: until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you
- Emails you send us: generally two years
Your choices
Write to wes_ai@gritandagency.com and we will:
- Tell you what we hold about you
- Correct anything wrong
- Delete you from our list and our records, except anything we are required to keep for tax or accounting
We will do it within 30 days and we will not make it difficult.
Security
We use reputable providers and we keep access to our accounts limited. No system is perfectly secure and we will not pretend otherwise.
Children
The site is for adults and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you think we have, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged.
