I got tired of being the only one who knew where everything was
So I learned to hand it off to AI. Now I teach small, in-person classes in Orlando for people carrying the same load at home and at work.
The short version
I’m Renee Seltzer. I’ve helped businesses build leadership development programs for their people, most recently as a corporate partnership strategist with Brown University. Before that, I spent 25+ years in education and technology, including as VP of Marketing at Bluum, helping schools and organizations take on new technology and actually use it. Today I run my own marketing practice as a fractional CMO.
That’s the part that matters for you. My whole career has been getting new skills and new technology to stick with people who are busy, skeptical and already carrying too much. AI is the same problem, with a much bigger payoff.
I live in Orlando with my husband and our three children. I’m also the one in my house who knows when every form is due.
Why I teach this
I started using AI for work, the way everybody does. Then one night I used it on the pile of school emails I had been avoiding for a week. It took eleven minutes, and I sat there slightly annoyed that nobody had told me.
So I kept going. That one assistant grew into a business brain that knows how Grit & Agency runs: my offers, my voice, the way I like things done.
Today I work with more than 30 AI agents. At work they handle business development, bookkeeping, marketing and market research. At home they help me plan parties, chase online returns, and keep up with the long list that used to live only in my head.
I do not write code. I built every one of them the way I teach it, one real problem at a time. And I no longer feel overwhelmed by all the moving parts of my life.
So I started telling people. Then a room of people. Then it turned into this.
What I am not
- Not an engineer. I do not write code and you do not need to either.
- Not a futurist. I have no opinion worth hearing about what happens in ten years.
- Not a therapist or a coach. This is a logistics problem, and I treat it like one.
What I actually know how to do
- Build a program and get people to turn up for it, which has been my job for most of my career
- Explain a technical thing to somebody who does not want a technical answer
- Sit with someone while something goes wrong on their laptop and not make them feel stupid about it
